Filipino/American Coalition for Environmental Solutions (FACES) (Berkeley, CA) $3,000 to work for environmental justice within communities in the United States and in the Philippines.
Korean Americans Against War and Neoliberalism (KAWAN) (Woodside, NY) $2,000 for a coalition building a global movement against militarism and neo-liberalism.
Central, Latin America & the Caribbean
Community Action for Justice in the Americas (CAJA) (Missoula, MT) $500 for an organization working in solidarity with grassroots organizations in the Americas to fight for social and environmental justice.
Pledge of Resistance – Dayton (Dayton, OH) $1,000 for a Latin American solidarity organization focusing on issues in Colombia and participates in the national effort to close the School of the Americas.
Portland Central America Solidarity Committee (Portland, OR) $1,500 to oppose US military and economic intervention in Central America and Mexico and support cross-border struggles for peace, justice, and self determination.
School of the Americas Watch/NE (SOA Watch/NE)M (Philadelphia, PA) $3,000 to close the School of the Americas, and to challenge and change oppressive US domestic and foreign policy.

Ilé: Organizing for Consciousness-in-Action (Caguas, PR) $2,000 to strengthen the leadership capabilities of Latino/a community organizers and to foster grassroots organizing for community development and self-determination.
Interfaith Alliance of Idaho (Boise, ID) $3,000 for an organization that works in faith-based communities to examine the interrelations between racism, classism, sexism, and heterosexism in Idaho.
Kansas Families United for Public Education Foundation (Shawnee, KS) $1,000 to insure that public school students receive quality and equitable education.
Lynne Stewart Defense Committee (New York, NY) $2,000 to raise awareness about the chilling effect of the USA Patriot Act on lawyers who represent political or unpopular defendants, such as attorney Lynne Stewart.
Maine Social Forum (Lewiston, ME) $1,500 to bring activists from Maine together to create alliances and to break down the isolation of organizing in a rural state.
Mirabal Sisters Cultural and Community Center (New York, NY) $3,000 to empower community members to find solutions to the growing social and economic needs of the low-income immigrant communities of West Harlem.
Movimiento por Justicia del Barrio (New York, NY) $3,000 for a multi-issue organization led by low-income immigrants and people of color in East Harlem organizing for housing justice.

Utah Progressive Network T (UPNet) (Salt Lake City, UT) $500 to attend the Western States Center’s Community Strategic Training Initiative.

Arise for Social Justice (Springfield, MA) $2,000 for an economic justice organization run by and for low-income people.
Contact Center (Cincinnati, OH) $3,000 to provide leadership training, skill development and power analysis to low-income and moderate income people.
Economic Justice Coalition (Athens, GA) $3,000 to educate the local community about economic disparities and to work toward implementing living wage and health benefit policies.
Georgia Employee Federation (Atlanta, GA) $2,000 to address the needs of working families and those that have received work-related injuries.
Maine Fair Trade Campaign (Greene, ME) $1,000 for an organization fighting for justice in the “Wal-Mart economy” and for fair trade policies.
Michigan Welfare Rights Organization (Detroit, MI) $2,000 for an organization that represents the interests of low-income people in disputes that affect their quality of life.
Peace Through Interamerican Community Action M (Bangor, ME) $3,000 for an organization engaged in anti-sweatshop, labor rights and solidarity organizing.
Save Our Section 8 Colorado (SOS Colorado) (Denver, CO) $1,000 for a coalition of low-income and Section 8 tenants working together to preserve and expand safe and accessible housing.
Transnational Institute for Grassroots Research & Action (TIGRA) (Oakland, CA) $1,000 for a transnational organizing project working to transform the social, political, and economic relationships under corporate-driven globalization.
Welfare Warriors (Milwaukee, WI) $2,000 for a multi-racial group of mothers in poverty creating a voice for low-income people to change welfare policy and practice.
Worcester Homeless Action Committee (Worcester, MA) $2,000 to increase city-wide awareness of–and a response toj–the critical shortage of housing for low-income communities.

Blue Mountains Biodiversity Project (Fossil, OR) $3,000 to promote systemic social change to end root causes of ecological destruction and social injustice.
Cascadia Wildlands Project M (Eugene, OR) $3,000 to challenge reckless resource extraction on public lands and to take action against destructive land management in their area.
Citizen Action New Mexico (Sandia Park, NM) $1,500 for group advocating to clean up a toxic waste site at Sandia National Laboratories and providing information to the public about renewable energy and nuclear weapons.
Citizens for Safe Water Around BadgerM (Merrimac, WI) $3,000 to clean up the toxic waste at Badger Army Ammunition Plant and create healthy sustainable re–use plans.
Concerned Citizens for Clean Air (CCCA) (Seal Rock, OR) $2,000 to educate and organize Central Oregon Coast citizens to fight for clean air by opposing pulp mill emissions, widespread herbicide use, burning and diesel emissions.
Embudo Valley Environmental Monitoring Group (Dixon, NM) $3,000 for an organization monitoring the health effects of weapons research and development on communities downwind of Los Alamos National Laboratory.
Kingsport Citizens for a Cleaner Environment (Kingsport, TN) $3,000 to oppose industrial pollution and counter the resulting environmental health hazards in low-income and minority communities.
Sand Mountain Concerned Citizens (Ider, AL) $3,000 to halt the growth of the corporate swine industry in densely populated rural areas of Alabama.

Love Makes a Family (Portland, OR) $2,000 to provide a public voice for all families, especially those subjected to social, economic and legal discrimination due to sexual orientation or gender identity.

ACT UP Philadelphia (Philadelphia, PA) $3,000 for an organization that fights the global AIDS crisis by addressing basic health disparities and social injustices which perpetuate the epidemic.
ADAPT- Colorado (Denver, CO) $1,000 for an accessibility grant.
ADAPT- Colorado M (Denver, CO) $3,000 for an organization empowering people with disabilities to integrate with full and equal rights into all parts of society.
Deaf & Deaf-Blind Committee on Human Rights (North Olmsted, OH) $1,000 for an accessibility grant to enable deaf and deaf-blind leaders to work together in coalition with local, state and national hearing organizations.
Freedom Center (Northampton, MA) $3,000 to unite people with severe mental illness to organize against psychiatric abuse and to promote alternatives to mainstream care.
Human Dignity Coalition (Bend, OR) $1,000 for an accessibility grant for a coalition addressing issues of racism, sexism and homophobia in Central Oregon.

Interfaith Action of Southwest Florida (Immokalee, FL) $2,000 to work in partnership with farmworkers to challenge corporate control of the agricultural industry and trade policies that affect immigrant and migrant workers.

Civic Media Center and Library (Gainesville, FL) $1,500 for an alternative library that serves as a community meeting space for area activist groups.
Thin Air Community Radio (Spokane, WA) $3,000 for a low-power FM radio station to produce progressive programming and provide access to unserved or under-served communities in the area.
Middle East
Vermonters for a Just Peace in Palestine/Israel (South Burlington, VT) $1,500 to support the survival and self-determination of the Palestinian people, counteract biased media reporting, and promote the equality and safety of both Palestinians and Israelis.
Native American/Native Peoples
Alianza Indigena Sin Fronteras (Tucson, AZ) $1,000 to promote respect for Indigenous human/civil rights and organize around sovereignty, border rights and environmental protection of Native lands and sacred sites.
Boboquivari Defense Project (Sells, AZ) $1,500 to protect the sacred site of Baboquivari Peak of the Tohono O’odham Nation from economic development, border patrol activities, military exercises, and ranching activities.
Defenders of the Black Hills (Rapid City, SD) $1,000 to protect and preserve lands guaranteed to the Lakota Nation under the Fort Laramie Treaties and build local coalitions around environmental justice issues.

Central Oregon Peace Network (Bend, OR) $900 to educate and promote non-violence and peace in Central Oregon.
Dorchester People for Peace (Dorchester, MA) $1,000 for an organization that opposes the war in Iraq and U.S. militarism and works to build a multi-racial social justice movement in Dorchester. Fayetteville Peace Rally Committee (Fayetteville, NC) $1,000 for an anti-war rally near Fort Bragg, NC. Greater Lowell for Peace and JusticeE (Lowell, MA) $300 to defray the expenses involved in a counter-recruitment concert to reach area youth who are major targets of military recruiters. Manhattan Alliance for Peace and Justice Education Fund (Manhattan, KS) $2,000 for a broad-based social justice organization that links peace and economic justice issues. Michigan Peaceworks (Ann Arbor, MI) $1,000 to organize for social change in the areas of peace, democracy, civil rights and civil liberties.
National Lawyers Guild – Military Law Task Force (La Mesa, CA) $2,000 for an organization which aids GI resistance to military oppression and demands that the military adhere to democratic values.
Nebraskans for Peace (Lincoln, NE) $2,500 for a grassroots advocacy organization working nonviolently for peace with justice through community building, education and political action.
North Fork People of Conscience (Southold, NY) $1,400 for an organization dedicated to progressive political and social change, with a strong focus on opposing the war in Iraq.
Peace Action Wisconsin (Milwaukee, WI) $3,000 to educate the public about nuclear weapons, militarism, current interventions, and non-violence.
Peace and Justice Center of Eastern MaineM (Bangor, ME) $3,000 for an organization that links individuals and groups concerned with peace, social justice and environmental issues in Eastern Maine.
Pikes Peak Justice and Peace Commission (Colorado Springs, CO) $1,000 to educate and raise awareness about environmental, social and economic justice.
Syracuse Peace Council (Syracuse, NY) $3,000 to organize toward a world where war, violence and exploitation in any form will no longer exist.
Veterans for Peace- Madison (Madison, WI) $1,500 for an organization dedicated to eliminating war as a means of US foreign policy; resistance to military recruitment and conscription in general; and working specifically to stop the Iraq war.
Veterans for Peace– Minnesota Chapter 27 (Minneapolis, MN) $3,000 to increase awareness of the costs of war, end the arms race, seek justice for veterans and victims of war, and to abolish war as an instrument of international policy.
War Resisters League — Military & Draft Counseling Project (Portland, OR) $1,000 to promote alternatives to militarism and provide information and advocacy for individuals concerning conscription, recruitment and military service.

California Coalition for Women Prisoners (San Francisco, CA) $1,500 for an organization that challenges the institutional violence imposed on women and communities of color by prisons and the criminal justice system.
Citizens Alert (Chicago, IL) $2,000 for a police watchdog organization that works toward more humane and effective law enforcement practices.
Coalition for Prisoners’ Rights M (Santa Fe, NM) $3,000 for an organization challenging the social and economic injustice inherent in the US punishment system.
Critical Resistance Oakland (Oakland, CA) $3,000 for a grassroots organization which seeks to end the use of the prison industrial complex as a “solution” to deep social, political and economic problems.
Ex-Prisoners and Prisoners Organizing for Community Advancement (EPOCA) (Worcester, MA) $2,000 for an organization of ex-prisoners, felons, allies and family working to reform the criminal justice system and to oppose the misuse of CORI information by employers and housing authorities.
Justice Works! (Lake Stevens, WA) $3,000 for a group of prisoners, ex-prisoners and allies organizing against racism in the criminal justice system.
Nebraskans Against the Death Penalty (Lincoln, NE) $1,500 is to abolish the death penalty in Nebraska.
Texas Moratorium Network (Austin, TX) $3,000 to fight for a statewide moratorium on executions in Texas and ultimately for an end to the death penalty.
Texas Students Against the Death Penalty (San Antonio, TX) $2,000 for an organization that works to end the death penalty in Texas through public education and the promotion of youth activism.
Witness to Innocence (Philadelphia, PA) $1,000 for a group led by exonerated former death-row prisoners which seeks change in the criminal justice system.
Women
9 to 5 Atlanta (Atlanta, GA) $3,000 for a multiracial grassroots organization of women working for economic justice through advocacy, public education, leadership development, and direct action campaigns.
Appalachian Women’s Alliance T (Floyd, VA) $500 to attend the Southeast Social Forum which will build strategies for organizing around the aftermath of hurricanes Katrina and Rita, the fight for immigrant rights, and the impact of violence and war at home and abroad.
Appalachian Women’s AllianceM (Floyd, VA) $3,000 for a multi-ethnic women’s group that organizes communities across Appalachia for social justice.
Arco Iris, Inc. (Ponca, AR) $1,000 for an organization that works for environmental protection, and the empowerment of women and people of color in rural northwest Arkansas.
Brazilian Women’s Group (Allston, MA) $1,000 to promote political and cultural awareness with the goal of developing leadership, empowerment and solidarity among Brazilians.
GABRIELA Network (New York, NY) $1,000 for a US–Philippines solidarity organization that seeks to empower US Filipinas and raise awareness of their concerns through leadership development, organizing, and education.
Mujeres Luchadoras Progresistas (Woodburn, OR) $2,000 for an organization of Latina farm workers that promotes self-sufficiency. leadership and economic development for its members.

US Women and Cuba Collaboration (Seattle, WA) $3,000 to build a strong US women’s movement dedicated to ending the US government blockade of Cuba.
Women’s Institute for Leadership Development (Boston, MA) $3,000 to address sexism and other issues of oppression within the labor movement and to build democratic unions.

3rd EyE Youth Empowerment, Inc (New Bedford, MA) $3,000 for an organization dedicated to the development of youth leadership through mentoring, skill building, and organizing campaigns.
Alaska Youth for Environmental Action (Anchorage, AK) $3,000 to empower youth to work on environmental issues in their communities through direct action and leadership development.
Coalition Against Militarism in Our Schools (South Pasadena, CA) $2,000 to demilitarize schools and place social justice, critical thinking and conflict resolution at the center.
