Website Usage
Most areas of our site are accessible without having to provide personal information of any kind. Some of our services do, however, require some form of identification, which the user is free to provide (or withhold) voluntarily. Submission of a registration form that includes the user's phone number or email address implies the user's consent to being contacted by RESIST, but we will not share this information with third parties.
RESIST's Commitment to Online Security
Physical, electronic and managerial procedures have been employed to safeguard the security and integrity of personal information. RESIST encrypts payment information wherever RESIST requests it. All RESIST contractors with access to personal information obtained on the RESIST website are also bound to adhere to this policy as part of their contract.

RESIST uses the information we collect about you to be able to send you communications such as our e-newsletter and various printed publications or mail appeals, and to help administer and improve our web sites. Please note that we use this information for internal purposes only. If you have subscribed to RESIST's e-newsletter, we will generally send you approximately one email communication per month.

We are aware of and sensitive to the issue of unsolicited email ("spam"); therefore RESIST will never rent, trade or sell your email address. From time to time, however, we may agree with other reputable, charitable organizations to write via postal mail to some of each other's supporters, for the mutual benefit of both.
